The Pennyworth Men’s Nail Bar vision and concept begun five years ago by the same minds that brought about California Nails & Day Spa, going on its 17th year. It began with its name which was inspired by none other than Bruce Wayne’s beloved butler, Alfred Pennyworth. In the DC universe, he is Batman’s loyal butler and the very personification of the perfect English gentleman. We chose the name, because of what Alfred Pennyworth stood for and what we, as a brand, wanted to give to our customers. Loyalty, Dedication, and Impeccable service. With that as our core ideology, Pennyworth promises to provide the perfect atmosphere and focused work in order to give our guests the ultimate nail care experience, to which they’ll come back to again, and again, and again.

Men frequent California Nails & Day Spa with spouses, girlfriends, brothers, sisters and mothers. On the occasion that a man came into our establishment on his own, he seemed a little uncomfortable being in a day spa full of women. Hence, the demand for men’s nail services became prevalent. As soon as Pennyworth Men’s Nail Bar came about, the men loved it! A place of their own for grooming and relaxing. As we can say, even men need a little “me time.”
